THE BLEEDING WOUND OF GUSH KATIF/GAZA

Perhaps Gaza was always like a festering wound that refused to heal itself. When Israel's Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, in his infamous blunder, ripped the scab off the wound by evicting all the 10,000 Jewish men, women and children -- making it Judenrein, it immediately started to trickle blood. The demolished Jewish homes and farms quickly became infected as in any open wound left untreated.

Sharon's colossal blunder was to open this wound claiming that it was a "treatment" and a "cure" but, it proved neither. Israel, If she survives such quack physicians who claim miraculous cures only to leave their patient (victims) crippled and too often dead. Some will recall the medieval practice of ignorant "doctors" who thought deliberately bleeding a person would cure them of the "evil humors that made them sick". They often drained them white, until the patient had neither the strength nor the will to resist all the other infections that cascaded down upon them.

Sharon used "his" army of "bleeders" to inflict a wound on Gaza that was so egregious that it will, no doubt, bleed for the lifetime of Israel, draining the Jewish State until it was even more vulnerable to a successful assault by her surrounding Arab Muslim neighboring states.

Gaza has now begun to emerge as the second attraction for Global Muslim Terrorist organizations -- just after Iraq. Before the evacuation of the 10,000 Jewish men, women and children, it was difficult for the Muslim Arab Terrorists to operate efficiently -- either as a single terrorist cell or in collaboration with other cells or organizations.

Fatah (aka the PLO) under the President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas whose nom de guerre is Abu Mazen wears many hats. Abu Mazen tried to demonstrate that he was working for peace and cessation of Terror but refused to use his sizable army of armed "Police" to confront or disarm such Terror organizations as Hamas. Even within Fatah, sizeable groups continue to pose as Police while carrying out or assisting Muslim Arab Terrorist against the Jewish State of Israel.

Hamas has settled into the open wound of a Judenrein Gaza feeding on the misery they, among the other Terrorists, have caused. Large cells of Hebz'Allah, al Qaeda are openly operating in Gaza and exploiting the process of bleeding.

One is reminded of Beirut where Yassir Arafat's Muslim Palestinians attacked the Christian Lebanese and Lebanese Muslims with all attacking each other without mercy. Gaza will be far worse as Iran and Syria pour in weapons of greater power -- all under the eyes of the Egyptians.

Each day the wound grows larger as the Israeli Army stands by, helpless, prevented from stopping the inexorable spread. Gaza will become the untouchable Terrorist laboratory, wherein each Terror group can grow and thrive, develop and trade techniques, eventually reaching any place on the Planet Earth which they wish to penetrate.

Naturally, Israel will merely be the closest and easiest target but America and Europe will follow. Perhaps the word "follow" is inaccurate, given that both Europe and America already play host to Muslim Jihadists intent upon, it not destroying those societies, to irrevocably damage them.

All the while, the Arab Muslim Palestinian Terrorists, along with Arab Muslim nations will bleat that they are only terrorizing because they are under attack by the West, namely, the Great Satan, America, aka the Christian Crusaders and the Little Satan, Israel.

The politicians who are Sharon's followers seem desperate to prove that the Gaza/Gush Katif withdrawal was not simply another Oslo plan gone bad. As has been often said, when you cannot learn from history, you are condemned to repeat it. Following that homily, Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert moved to open in Israel another bleeding wound in the ancient Holy City of Hebron. As in Gaza, the operation in Hebron also was undertaken by anticipation for political gains hoping the Left Liberal voters would flock to Sharon's new creation, the Kadima Party. (Kadima means "Forward".) However, Kadima is now merely a remnant of Sharon's passing from the scene.

In Gaza the chaos spreads both internally and externally. Weapons poured in of a quality which Israel did not have to face in the past. With Sharon's opening of the portals, the smugglers no longer really needed tunnels but, just brought them openly across the Rafah checkpoints into Gaza from Egypt, with a wink and a nod from Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak -- using a path cleared for them by the American Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice.

Now, improved Kassam and Katyusha missiles, courtesy of Iran and Syria, could reach much further even to Israel's irreplaceable southern Power Plant and fuel storage facilities in Ashkelon. Sharon's Folly will bring a bitter price to Israel.

As in medieval Europe the bleeding of the victim, Israel, has already begun as the attending quack doctors recommend even more puncture wounds in the sacrificial experiment. Here we see not only the results of Sharon's deadly blunder but the other quack doctors of Olmert, President Bush, Secretary Rice and Europeans all covering over their mistakes by recommending that more bleeding will certainly cure the hapless patient. The pernicious Left has opened up many veins of the nation, always promising a cure and yet always failing.

The analogy of Gaza as an open bleeding wound is accurate, given what we presently see. Al Zarqawi has promised to bring what is euphemistically called the "foreign fighters" "mujahadeen", now being trained in Iraq against the American troops, construction and aid workers and the Iraqi civilians.

I have little doubt they are already operating cells throughout Gaza, knitting together the Muslim Arab Terrorists as Al Zarqawi did in Iraq and as Yassir Arafat did in Jordan, then Lebanon. He went onto Tunis and then was invited back into Gaza and Ramallah, courtesy of Bill Clinton, Shimon Peres and Yitzhak Rabin according to the Oslo Accords of 1993.

Zarqawi, declared lieutenant of Osama Bin Laden, and Aman Zawahiri, Bin Laden's planners, will make Gaza one of the most effective global terrorist enclaves on the Planet. Bush and Rice will desperately attempt to distance themselves from their collaboration with Sharon as the bleeding wound of Gaza grows exponentially. The Terrorist leaders whom they relied upon, accepting their vague and always ingenuous pledges of cooperation, will become an embarrassment.

As they coalesce and reach out to subvert Saudi Arabia, Jordan and make common cause wit the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt. Bush will back-pedal, claiming innocence. Ehud Olmert and the Left Liberals will desperately move to evacuate Judea and Samaria of Jews -- trying to yet proved that their failed plans for Gaza were, in retrospect, a wise move.

As Olmert and the Left use the co-opted Army and Police to attack Jews in the center of country -- beginning with the Holy Jewish City of Hebron, so too will the forces of Terror operating out of Gaza attack both settlers and the coastal strongholds of the Left.

There will be more wounds opened, left to bleed, drop by drop. Israel, having volunteered herself for the medieval cure of "bleeding", will be fighting to stay alive as the Left, Bush, the Europeans hover over the patient, probing for more veins to open in order to cure the patient.
